HAUNTED MAN GETS 9 DAYS TO LIVE ...

A 23-year-old man from west Kingston feels his world is coming to an end, literally, after a 'spiritual healer' recently told him he only has nine days to live.

The man, Ticka, told THE WEEKEND STAR he visited the spiritual leader last Sunday and was told someone had cast a spell on him which has caused ghosts to haunt him. As a result of this he is supposed to die on Tuesday.

"Him tell mi seh somebody work some powerful science and set duppy pon mi. Him gi mi nine more day fi live," he told THE WEEKEND STAR earlier this week.

According to Ticka, he was forced to visit the spiritual leader after falling ill and feeling what he said were some 'serious' stomach pains.

"Mi jus' wake up one morning last week and a feel some serious pain inna mi belly. Mi go doctor and him seh him couldn't find wah a cause it," Ticka said.
The young man said that the doctor gave him some painkillers.
The thing which has made Ticka even more convinced about his pending death is that approximately two days before he began feeling ill, he was walking in his community when an elderly man came up to him and pointed over his head before saying "Yu a go dead" and then simply walked away.

church counsel
"Afta mi go doctor and mi still a feel di pain dem and mi remember wah di ole man seh and mi tell some church people wah mi a feel, dem send mi to the obeah man. When mi tell him everything now and him pray and read wah him fi read and do wah him fi do then him tell mi seh mi have nine days lef," Ticka explained.

The youngster also said strange things have been happening at his home like his pillow being shifted when he lies in his bed and somebody tapping him on his shoulder while he is there alone.
When THE WEEKEND STAR made contact with the spiritual leader, Father Powell, yesterday, he said he felt an incredibly strong force around Ticka, which suggested the presence of evil spirits

"Yes man, trust mi, a some evil spirits give off dem force deh. Is not something normal, is years me nuh feel dem force there," Powell said.
He said it would take divine intervention for the young man to be saved. In the meantime, the spiritual leader said he gave the young man a special 'belly band' which is supposed to help ward off the ghosts and their dark force.

Ticka, who has being wearing the piece of red cloth around his stomach, told THE WEEKEND STAR he has become closer to God in recent days and he is promising to give his life to Christ if he lives past Tuesday.

"Dis whole ting jus' strange star. Mi cyaa even eat a day time. Mi a beg God a chance and mi a go change mi life,"

Rihanna Splits with Manager, Signs to Roc Nation....

Rihanna is throwing up the Roc. The pop superstar has parted ways with her longtime manager and has signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

“[I'm] so excited to take this next step in my career,” Rihanna told The Associated Press in a statement. She had previously been managed by Marc Jordan of Rebel One Entertainment, who was with her from the start of her career.

Plans are underway to launch a new company called Rihanna Entertainment that will “merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance fashion, and book ventures.”

Jay-Z signed Rihanna to Def Jam in 2005 and collaborated with her on his 2009 hit “Run This Town.” She will release her fifth album Loud on November 16.

Lil Wayne Is # 7 On MTV's Hottest MC's In The Game List....

The # 7 slot on MTV's Hottest MC's In The Game List goes to Lil Wayne.

While some may disagree with this placement, what can't be denied is Weezy's work ethic.

The CEO of Young Money Records has been in jail since May, but it doesn't seem like he's been gone that long..

The man prepared well for his prison sentence, leaving his fans lots of quality music and videos to hold them over until his November 2010 release from Rikers Island.

In 2010 Wayne released two solo albums. The rock influenced 'Rebirth' which has gone gold. And 'I Am Not A Human Being' which just hit # 1 on Billboards Hot 100 chart this week.

Add to that the countless videos he shot before going in, "Drop The World" ft Eminem from 'Rebirth', "No Love", another Eminem collaboration that appeared on Em's 'Recovery' cd.

Also "Da Da Da", "Knockout" ft Nicki Minaj and "I Am Not A Human Being". Well you get the picture, dude put in work. He actually shot nine videos in one weekend at one point in Febrary.

So Wayne gets a well deserved nod at # 7 on the list.....congrats.

Females want back the video light...

This is one time we have to agree with the females and hope they are successful in their fight. According to a story in the Star artistes such as Macka Diamond and others are trying to get their share of the video light.

If you go to the dances these days the video is on most of the male dance crews or men dancing, the poor women can’t even get a chance to bask in the video light.

Well Macka Diamond, ZJ Sparks, Mad Michelle, Lastisha, Myster and other female dancers names were quoted in the story that it’s now their chance to shine in the light.
"Look at the DVDs, look at the videos, look at the parties, everywhere you go di man dem tek ova di ting like a fi dem sitten, so we just decided to do a song and address it. We not trying to cause any controversy, we are just calling a spade a spade," Mystic told the paper.

Joe Budden Owes $13K In Child Support, Authorities Issue Arrest Warrant
Authorities are on the lookout for Budden, who owes $12,983 in back child support.
According to recent reports by the New Jersey Journal, a warrant has been issued for rapper Joe Budden's arrest for failure to pay child support. According to New Jersey city officials, Budden owes nearly $13,000 in child support, which authorities learned after a routine sweep of what they called "deadbeat dads."

This is not the first time Budden has been reported to have failed to pay child support. He was arrested in 2009 for the same offense.

Joe Budden has not yet commented on the arrest warrant. He is currently scheduled to release his newest album Mood Muzik 4: A Turn for the Worst.

JFLAG APPLAUD KARTEL ON SIGNING THE REGGAE COMPASSIONATE ACT.....

Vybz Kartel (left) and Mikey Pelpa are all smiles at the Peace march held in Waterford, Portmore, St Catherine. - File

The Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-sexuals and Gays (J-FLAG) has acknowledged that Vybz Kartel's signature affixed to the Reggae Compassionate Act is a step in the right direction of the dancehall artiste claiming responsibility for his music.

However, Dane Lewis, executive director of J-FLAG, said the next step is to hold artistes accountable for their lyrics.
"Considering what the act calls for, this is a step, as long as the signature is not just a token.
"Signing the act is one thing, but it's important to stand up for it."
The Reggae Compassionate Act was drafted in 2007 as part of the Stop Murder Music campaign, a human-rights groups coalition, which advocates for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and trans-identified persons.
The act speaks to positive social changes and upholding the rights of all individuals regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or gender.

Take responsibility
News reports circulating online claim that Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidjah Palmer, signed the Reggae Compassionate Act late September, just days before he was set to perform in France.
Kartel would not confirm the details but questioned why there was a brouhaha over his signing the document.
"Yes, I did. What's the big deal? So what if I did?" he asked before hanging up the phone.
Lewis said the 'big deal' is to make sure performers adhere to the act's strictures.

"Artistes should be aware of the influence their music could have on society," Lewis said.

According to the J-FLAG executive director, there were approximately 400 cases reported since January involving hate crimes against persons who identify with the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.
"They range from raping lesbians to physical assault," Lewis noted.
He also recounted an incident when a person was killed in a dance hall as Buju Banton's controversial anti-gay anthem, Boom Bye Bye, was played.

Jamaican dancehall artistes such as Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Sizzla and Capleton have been chastised for several years by LGBT groups in North America and Europe for their anti-gay lyrics.

YOUR MONDAY DOSE OF HUMOR

FLOW INTRODUCES 100MBPS INTERNET TO THE ISLAND.....

As part of Flows unwaveringly commitment to provide Jamaicans with the best service and most advanced technologies available, the broadband company announced that it will now offer up to 100Mbs to residential customers requiring this type of speed.

This is really an unprecedented move, said Michele English, Flows President and Chief Operating Officer.  Very few countries in the region offers this kind of speed and capacity to their residential customers, she said.   English was speaking at the VIP launch of Flows new 3,000 square feet flagship store at Fairview plaza, in Montego Bay on Friday October 15h.

Addressing a high level audience that comprised Montego Bays top business personalities, English stated that this moves comes as Flow continues to make good on its promise to introduce new broadband products and services in Jamaica that are on par, or even surpasses international best practices.  It also follows Flows recent FREE upgrade from internet speeds of 8 and 15 to 12Mbps and 20Mbps respectively to residential customers.

This move, really demonstrates the power of Flows Technology, said English. Describing the Companys US$250M infrastructure, English stated that, Unlike many other communications options on the island, Flows systems are designed to meet future demands with minimal adjustments to the existing infrastructure.  In addition, unlike wireless broadband providers of 3G, 4G and WiMax, Flow is not hindered by the capacity and speed issues.  Our network allows us to offer the fastest, highest capacity accompanied by the ability to offer these services at the best prices. Our network, offers unprecedented capacity, resilience, redundancy and reliability for broadband data communications.  Through it we will continue to lead the market in terms of innovation and new products.

Also addressing the issue of wireless solutions, English told the audience that in recent times, we have been bombarded with messages about the wireless technologies, and we certainly appreciate the need for mobility, particularly within the workplace and home.  She noted that Flow has been offering wireless or WiFi connections for its blazing speed internet since we launched some four years ago.  With our Flow Unplugged offering, we can now not only offer WiFi outside of the home, but more importantly, at consistent speeds that is only possible with a true, fibre-optic broadband technology

This move has cemented Flows position as an industry leader where the broadband company continues to offer service that places Jamaica as leader in the region and makes the island an even more attractive business destination.  For local customers, the opportunities for development and innovation and cost savings have been significant.  Since Flows entry into the Jamaican market, Flow has driven down the prices of internet by as much as 80% in some cases, while at the same time, offering customers more bandwidth than was available on the market at much lower costs.

We look forward to working with the Jamaican people to use this technology to continue to deliver first rate innovation on the island.  With Flow and Jamaica, only great things can happen, she said.

About Flow

Bajan, MOTHER and her SON charged with drug trafficking

NEW YORK, USA – United States law enforcement authorities have charged a Barbadian airline employee and his mother with drug trafficking and related charges.
A superseding indictment returned by a US federal grand jury in Brooklyn charges former American Airlines baggage handler Barbadian Victor Bourne, 35, and former American Airlines dispatching crew chief Miguel Bozza, 48, with drug trafficking and other charges.
The superseding indictment also charges Maria Alleyne, 51, the mother of Victor Bourne, with structuring the purchase of money orders to avoid financial reporting requirements.
Bourne is also charged with conducting a continuing criminal enterprise; Bourne and Bozza are charged with importing and distributing narcotics, as well as conspiring to do so, and wire fraud conspiracy.
In addition, Bourne and Alleyne are charged with conspiring to avoid financial reporting requirements through structured financial transactions.
If convicted of all charges, Bourne and Bozza face a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, and Alleyne faces a maximum of five years imprisonment.
US authorities said they are also seeking forfeiture of “Bourne organisation’s criminally derived proceeds”.
According to the indictment and other court filings, between 2000 and 2009, Victor Bourne, was “the leader of a drug trafficking organisation, the Bourne Organisation, that relied on corrupt employees of commercial airlines, including American Airlines, at domestic and international ports of entry to smuggle drugs into the United States and throughout the Caribbean”.
“As part of its criminal activity, the Bourne Organisation allegedly arranged for cocaine to be stowed aboard American Airlines flights leaving the Caribbean for John F Kennedy International Airport,” it added.
The indictment charges that “the organisation then paid dispatching crew chiefs at American Airlines, including Miguel Bozza, to assign crews of baggage handlers, who were also paid by the Bourne Organisation, to retrieve the cocaine upon arrival”.
As part of the government’s investigation, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers said they seized multiple shipments of cocaine from American Airlines passenger flights.
According to court filing by US authorities, the “Bourne Organisation” was responsible for the importation more than 150 kilogrammes of cocaine into the US.
The indictment further alleges that the organisation was responsible for the shipment of more than 5,000 kilogrammes of marijuana aboard cargo vessels, “in part through a Brooklyn footwear business, owned by Maria Alleyne, to businesses in Barbados”.
“Bourne and Alleyne structured the purchase of US Postal Service money orders to avoid federal reporting requirements, and, thereby, enabled the organisation to transfer clandestinely its drug proceeds,” the indictment says.
“These charges are another example our continuing pursuit of international drug traffickers through a global enforcement strategy,” said Loretta E Lynch, US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.
“We will continue to investigate and prosecute workers at our ports of entry who threaten the integrity of our borders,” she added.
James T Hayes, Jr, special agent in charge of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in New York, said the use of commercial aircraft to smuggle narcotics creates a “serious threat to both national security and public safety”.

TYRA BANKS SUED BY 15YR OLD "SEX ADDICTS'" MOTHER.....

We just heard that Tyra Banks is involved in a $3 million lawsuit against her TV show’s producers. Beverly Mclendon claims her daughter appeared on a show promoting her as a “15-Year Old Sex Addict” without her consent.

The Tyra Banks Show is an edgy talk show with a focus on unbecoming female behavior and an occasional focus on unbecoming ’black’ female behavior.

The Tyra Show does an excellent job at exposing the real intentions behind immature & foolish female behavior. Women and people in general don’t like that.
We all like her show and we hope this lawsuit doesn’t influence the authenticity of it.

Jamaican Government Implementing Import Restriction...

This move by Prime Minister Bruce Golding probably the only good thing he done since he took office, Golding has announced that the Government is restricting the granting of licenses to import agricultural produce in Jamaica.
The move coincides with the decision of the Government to freeze the granting of waivers and incentives while that system is reviewed.
According to Prime Minister Golding, the restriction on imports is aimed at helping farmers to secure local markets.
Speaking in North Central Clarendon on the weekend, Golding said the administration has come under pressure for restricting imports.
However, he says it’s an initiative the Government undertake.

The United State and other country not buying Jamaica goods, instead they flood Jamaica with cheap inferior food killing the local economy...Good move by Jamaica government, lets see how this played out.

10-17-10: Beenie Man In Zimbabwe - (Photo)

beeniemanzimbabwe.jpg

Zimbabwe treats Beenie Man like a pop star re....Why is this, they don't get visitor from celebrity often?pre If it was the US, UK or Canada they wouldn't even notice him. They don't even want him to visit much less have any sort of parade welcome...

Zimbabwe Media Reports: “Beenie, can I be your girl?” ecstatically screamed a fan of Anthony Moses Davies, popularly known as Beenie Man, after the Jamaican dancehall star had just touched down at Harare International Airport on Friday afternoon.
Although not as big as the Akon welcome in August, the small crowd that came to receive the star injected so much life into the arrival, mobbing him until he had to call out:
beeniemanWinkyD.jpg
“Africa, give me some space!”

The Rastafarian community in Zimbabwe also came in their droves to welcome their brethren.

The Grammy award-winning Jamaican will perform at the Lion Lager Beer Festival at the Old Hararians Sports Club on Saturday.

Beenie Man could not be quickly whisked away, as he seemed to enjoy the attention so much that he slid out of the car into which he had been ushered and started moving around as the crowds cheered and pursued him.

He sang to the small crowd, which also responded to his track, Who Am I, from the album, Many Moods of Moses, which made him popular during the 90s.

He told the fans he wanted to "show Africa what I am made of".

The hyper-active star jumped around and at one point held on to and swung around some pillars.

He later addressed a press conference alongside local stars Winky D, Sulumani Chimbetu, and Stunner.

Vybz Kartel Responds To Signing Deal With Gays, “Yes I Did. What’s The Big Deal?”

Vybz Kartel signed the Reggae Compassionate Act late September, just days before he was set to perform in France. Portmore Empire leader Vybz Kartel, has made his first public statement since singing a deal with the gay community in Europe.

Copies of the signed document flooded the internet over the past week, resulting in Kartel feeling the heat from dancehall fans. Kartel have since been shying away from the public due to the amount of attention the signing of the deed has drawn on him. Until Wednesday Vybz spoke to Gleaner journalists.

Kartel would not confirm the details but questioned why there was a brouhaha over his signing the document.
“Yes, I did. What’s the big deal? So what if I did?” he asked before hanging up the phone.

Lewis said the ‘big deal’ is to make sure performers adhere to the act’s strictures.

“Artistes should be aware of the influence their music could have on society,” Lewis said.

Soulja Boy Talks About Shoot-Out At His House

Soulja

Soulja Boy has a song called “Shootout” and based on newly released excerpts from the rapper’s recent interview with Vibe Magazine, Soulja’s music ended up being a perfect example of life imitating art !

Soulja Boy covers the first ever digital issue of VIBE Magazine and in his feature, the 20-year-old entertainer talks about how he and his friends were involved in a shoot out at his home in Atlanta late last year. While they were in the studio recording, three thieves broke into his house and it all went down hill from there.

“I’m thinking if I shoot this nigga, I can get that gun and shoot all these niggas at the same time,” says Soulja. “So I jumped out, shot at the dude four times and missed. He ducked down and ran. He started yelling, so I shot him like two more times,” he recalls. “Then he turned around and started running. So I popped his ass like two more times in the back, and he hit the floor.

Eventually, all three robbers fled the crib. Looking back on the situation, Soulja says Interscope Records didn’t want him discussing the shooting because of his fan base. But now that he’s an adult, he no longer wants to hold back.

“I really didn’t want nobody to know that I shot somebody,” he says appearing relieved to finally get out his account. “My label [didn’t] want that out there [because] when the robbery went down I had fans like 9, 10 years old. But being that I’m 20, I don’t give a fuck no more. Ain’t nobody take shit from me that night.”

Sade Rejects Jay-Z's Offer To Collaborate.....

Sade Rejects Jay-Z's Offer To Collaborate
The Soul legend refuses work with rappers for fear of seeming inadequate.

With all the success he’s seen in his career it’s a safe assumption that Jay-Z rarely hears the word “no.” But that’s exactly the response he received when he asked R&B legend Sade to collaborate with him. And Jigga isn’t the only rapper being denied access to the British soulstress’ talents and samples of her recorded work; she has apparently turned down many similar requests.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times Sade explained her reasons saying, “I’m too scared. They’ll find me out. It’s like The Wizard of Oz. They’ll find out there’s nothing there. As for collaborations, I’m collaborating with the band and do what we do. I see myself as a member of this band who does these songs that we write.” Though she does add that in the unlikely event that an artist does get a sample of Sade’s music cleared it likely won’t cost them much. She jokes, “When it comes to sample clearances, I’m probably the cheapest chick in the west.”

Sade and her band of the same name released Soldier of Love earlier this year to great critical and commercial acclaim, including a number one Billboard debut. They are currently touring in support of the record.

Omarion Gets Served W/ $110K Tax Debt....

R&B singer Omarion's tax woes have the Internet and show the former Young Money artist owing over $110,000 to the government.
Omarion's debt reportedly dates back to 2003.
Too bad R&B singer Omarion is a judge, not a contestant, on "America's Best Dance Crew," because the show's $100,000 prize could come in handy. He owes $110,585 in federal taxes to the IRS, according to public records. The IRS filed a $35,210 lien against Omarion on May 18 with the Orange County (Calif.) Recorder of Deeds. The IRS filed a $25,660 lien Oct. 29, 2009, in Orange County. The IRS filed a $49,715 lien Aug. 6, 2009, with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds. He owes income taxes from 2003, 2005 and 2006, according to the lien. (Detroit News)
Last year, Omarion talked about parting ways with Lil Wayne's label in summer 2009.
"It feels amazing," Omarion expressed. "Amazing, and the reason why it feels amazing is because I would have never thought at 25 I would have the opportunity to be in this position. A lot of artists, and I'm guilty of this too, it's like when you get into a habit of a regiment, like going on tour, hitting the stage, getting off, going to the hotel, next city, hit the stage, getting off, it can really put you in a box of not thinking about your future. So at different times, I was at that time in my career where I was cool with everything and when you look at movies like [Michael Jackson's] This Is It, your peers, they never wanna stop, they want to keep going, what's the next thing? So with me, I'm happy to be the captain of my ship and to be able to keep going." (The Cost Mag)

"Timbaland had so much on his plate," Omarion recalled in an interview. "And when I saw I couldn't have the relationship I wanted to have with him, I knew it wasn't the home for me. With Young Money, it was getting close to the end of the year, and I wanted to build momentum for the first quarter. Wayne had other plans, though...he's the captain of his ship. Everyone was speculating that I was out for the count, but I never sweat. Stepping out as an entrepreneur was the smartest thing I could do." (Billboard)

T.I.'s Attempted Suicide Victim's Mother Speaks, "I Wish It Was A Publicity Stunt"

Days after T.I. helped convince a suicidal man from plunging off a building, the jumper's mother has come forward to speak on the situation.
According to the attempted suicide victim's mother, her son's act was not for publicity purposes.
"I wish it was a publicity stunt and my son wasn't hurting as bad as he is and to get up there and do something like that. It's an embarrassment really and it's like my God, thank God for T.I!! So I'm just saying that it's crazy for people to think that someone would do that as a publicity stunt. It just bothers my mind...My son was on top of the roof. I was speaking to an officer on the phone. He would not come down while I was on the phone because I was still at work and I need to try and keep my job, okay. That's part of my son's problem, he can't find work in Atlanta and he has other issues/problems. He's thinking that's where it ends and that's when it hit, he didn't want to live any more..." (Necole Bitchie)
Following the rescue, T.I. addressed what took place.
"I'm not taking any credit," T.I. said in an interview with radio host Ryan Cameron. "It could have been resolved in another way. The fact of the matter is God put me in a position, and put in my spirit to be in the position to help, and I can't take any credit for that...I didn't wake up this morning with the intentions of going down and helping hostage negotiators talk someone down off a ledge. I don't think that could be in anyone's plan of action. I don't expect this to have any different impact on any of my circumstances. That wasn't my motivation." (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
Details on T.I.'s heroism hit the Internet earlier this week.
T.I. saves the day. Or at least the possible Midtown jumper's life. Atlanta Police tell CL the rap star visited the scene of today's incident and told officers he wanted to speak with the unidentified man who around 4 p.m. had threatened to jump from the 22-story Colony Square Building.

Roc-A-Fella Co-Founder Kareem 'Biggs' Burke Busted In Massive Pot Ring....

Founding Roc-A-Fella Records member Kareem "Biggs" Burke was arrested today (October 15th) with 42 other people in a ring that allegedly controlled the marijuana market in New York City.

According to The New York Daily News, Burke has been a part of the ring since 1992. Federal prosecutors claim that Burke was part of a network that was headed up by Geovanny (Manny) Rodriguez Perez aka "Shorty."

Police accused Shorty's network of growing the pot down south, shipping it up north in tractor trailers and returning the proceeds to South Florida, according to Jim Hayes, a special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations For Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Police arrested Burke at his home in North Bergen, N.J. In addition to Burke, an advertising executive for High Times named Matthew Stang was arrested in an 18 month operation, which was dubbed "Operation Green Venom."

Agents confiscated $1 million in drug profits and 177 pounds of marijuana from the suspects as well.

"This isn't just a group that controlled one block, one neighborhood," Hayes said. "They dominated the wholesale marijuana market in New York for 20 years."

Burke helped co-found Roc-A-Fella Records in 1996 with Jay-Z and Damon Dash, after the pair had been turned down by several record labels.

They landed a distribution deal with Priority Records and released Jay-Z's classic debut album, Reasonable Doubt.

Kareem "Biggs" Burke and the others face 10 years to life in prison for allegedly distributing over 1,000 kilos of the drug.

T.I. Sentenced to 11 Months In Prison.....

T.I. is heading back to prison, after a federal judge revoked the rapper's probation and sentenced the rap star to 11 months in prison for possessing drugs in September in Los Angeles.

T.I. appeared in court today (October 15th) for a hearing that started at 2:00PM, flanked by his team of lawyers that included Ed Garland, Steve Sadow, Don Samuel, Janice Capek, Kristen Wright and Dwight Thomas.

The courtroom was packed, as he stood before Judge Charles Pannell Jr.

Prosecutors chastised the Grammy Award winning rapper for violating the terms of his federal probation for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers in October of 2007 and wanted to send him away for two years.

During the hearing, a small fire broke out on the side of the courthouse, causing a stir, but the proceedings continued.

The rapper's defense attorneys argued that drugs in his system were the result of a root canal and T.I. admitted to using the drugs, after he had dental surgery.

Judge Charles Pannell Jr. sentenced T.I. to the prison sentence, after the Atlanta native and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were caught in Los Angeles on September 1st, in possession of a controlled substance, which was later revealed to be ecstasy.

Additionally, the rap star tested positive for drugs the following day and was traveling with a convicted felon named Cortez "C-Rod" Thomas, who allegedly helped the rapper set up the purchase of illegal weapons that T.I. was originally arrested for, which further violated the terms of his probation.

The rapper asked the judge to sentence him to rehab for a drug addiction, but he was sentenced to the 11 months in prison, instead.

T.I., born Clifford Harris Jr., was released from prison in March, after serving a year in prison for attempting to purchase the machine guns and silencers prior to the BET Awards in October of 2007.

After T.I. was released from prison, he appeared to be on the right path, hitting the studio to record his highly anticipated come back album
King Uncaged, while promoting his #1 box office movie, Takers.

During an interview with CNN's Don Lemon, T.I. said that he was "tired" and vowed to turn his life around. The rap star also apologized to anyone he may have hurt, or disappointed due to his arrest.

"The only thing that I can say, man, is that all people who have supported me, who were behind me, who believed in me, who were disappointed and were let down, I just offered my sincerest apologies, and I will dedicate my life no matter how long it takes to earn your trust back and to make you proud yet again," T.I. said.

"I'm tired. I'm wore out," the rap star continued. "I don't have the age, the energy or just the attitude to move forward and continuing in this cycle in this ongoing process of destruction and disparity in my life. I've got too many depending on me and counting on me. I can't do it."

According to reports, T.I. will return home and start his sentence shortly.
