This is really an unprecedented move, said Michele English, Flows President and Chief Operating Officer. Very few countries in the region offers this kind of speed and capacity to their residential customers, she said. English was speaking at the VIP launch of Flows new 3,000 square feet flagship store at Fairview plaza, in Montego Bay on Friday October 15h.
Addressing a high level audience that comprised Montego Bays top business personalities, English stated that this moves comes as Flow continues to make good on its promise to introduce new broadband products and services in Jamaica that are on par, or even surpasses international best practices. It also follows Flows recent FREE upgrade from internet speeds of 8 and 15 to 12Mbps and 20Mbps respectively to residential customers.
This move, really demonstrates the power of Flows Technology, said English. Describing the Companys US$250M infrastructure, English stated that, Unlike many other communications options on the island, Flows systems are designed to meet future demands with minimal adjustments to the existing infrastructure. With our Flow Unplugged offering, we can now not only offer WiFi outside of the home, but more importantly, at consistent speeds that is only possible with a true, fibre-optic broadband technology
